Someone once described me as Martha Stewart meets MacGyver. My 9 to 5 is actually 8 to 3 teaching Kindergarten. I moved to my first big girl NYC apartment in 2004 and found the kitchen had no countertops and a vintage oven I'm still afraid to light. Somehow I've survived and since 2007 managed to keep my husband, T, fed too.
My mother & grandmothers taught me from an early age to appreciate tea time, keep the pantry stocked, lick the bowl, use the good china and make everything with love.
I blog about life in NYC and mainly all the things I associate with food - trying recipes, setting off the smoke alarm, unlimited mimosas at Sunday Funday brunch and eating cookie dough during a chick flick while my husband works late.
